Lake Street

Lake Street is a beautiful tree-lined street that is bordered by Presidio Heights, the Presidio, and Sea Cliff. This is a great area for residents looking for charming Edwardian and Victorian properties, easy access to the outdoors, convenient access to transportation throughout the city, and multiple commercial districts within walking distance, including Laurel Village and Clement Street shopping areas. Though there are a variety of housing types in the Lake Street district, single family homes are predominant and many include large back yards. There are a handful of cul-de-sacs North of Lake that abut the famous Presidio Wall that carry greater value. North of Lake homes are stately and elegant and benefit from no thru- traffic, while some have direct access into the Presidio.
