Ana Dierkhising was an integral part of the process of finding a new home in San Francisco for our growing family and additional space needs. Over the years, we've had the pleasure of buying two homes with Ana and selling one. We bought both homes in very hot markets. We were looking in very specific neighborhoods, for very specific footprints, and we did not want to over-extend ourselves. Ana knew exactly what we were looking for, she was patient, she didn't pressure us, she found the right homes for us in both cases, and in both cases, despite hot markets, she helped us negotiate deals substantially below asking. Ana was the listing agent for the sale of our single-family home in the Lake District of San Francisco. We interviewed five agents before selecting her. What differentiated her in the interview process is she came to the interview with a full market analysis and mock-ups of marketing materials (e.g., she had hired a photographer to take some pictures BEFORE we had hired her). She was the only agent we met who was this well-prepared. Our initial impression was confirmed once the sale process was underway. We had two offers above the asking price before the first open house - hard to do better than that.
