Patrick Barber
President, Pacific Union International’s San Francisco Region

Patrick V. Barber, President of Pacific Union International’s (PUI) San Francisco Region, works closely with CEO Mark McLaughlin to bring innovative operating practices and renewed market vigor to the San Francisco Bay Area’s premier international luxury real estate brand. He serves on the executive committee of the company and contributes to the strategic direction, long term planning, and fiscal decision making processes. Barber joined the PUI team in March 2010 after nearly 12 years at Sotheby's International Realty.

As President of PUI’s San Francisco Region, Barber’s focus is on strategic growth and operations, agent development, marketing, and community efforts for three of its 22 offices — the firm’s largest region. Passionate about client service, the longtime real estate professional understands first-hand the cyclical challenges of selling real estate in the Bay Area and how to navigate complex transactions. Barber’s ability to find and nurture agent talent has become his hallmark. He also oversees Mortgage Services Professionals, a joint venture launched by PUI and Wells Fargo Bank in Q2 2010 to provide streamlined financing and mortgage services to PUI clients. In addition, Barber sits on the Operating Committee for the company’s insurance joint venture, Pro Insurance.


Mark McLaughlin
Chief Executive Officer, Pacific Union International

Mark A. McLaughlin is Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Union International. McLaughlin acquired Pacific Union in August 2009.

Mark A. McLaughlin is Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Union International, Inc. A visionary leader in the real estate industry, McLaughlin led the acquisition of Pacific Union Real Estate in 2009 to become Pacific Union International, Inc., an expanding global brand. Under his leadership, Pacific Union has grown from a boutique luxury real estate brokerage with sales volume of $2.2 billion to the eight largest real estate brokerage in the U.S. with impactful international reach and sales volume of $10.15 billion in 2016.

In 2015 and 2016, McLaughlin led mergers with premier urban residential sales and marketing firm The Mark Company and Los Angeles luxury brokerage John Aaroe Group, seamlessly linking 1,161 real estate professionals operating in 38 offices throughout coastal California. Additionally, McLaughlin diversified within the brand to develop joint operating ventures in the mortgage, insurance, and property management services. He pioneered residential real estate outreach to Asia, establishing a China Concierge office in Beijing in 2013 to support the needs of Pacific Union's clients in mainland China.

Directed by McLaughlin, Pacific Union vigorously executes against a unique, high-performance vision for the development of the real estate firm of the future. Key to this vision is the brokerage's Innovation Lab, created to accelerate technology development unsurpassed in the industry. The technology stack launched through this initiative includes a robust array of proprietary tech tools that connect the "cloud to the street," putting faster business analytics into the hands of elite real estate professionals and creating the ideal road map for the ultimate client experience.

A hallmark of McLaughlin's success is executive team leadership development, open communication, and teamwork, with keen emphasis on quantitative goals and exceeding client expectations. Inspired to serve his clients, employees, partners, and the community, McLaughlin's leadership extends to the Pacific Union's Community Fund, with giving topping $1 million.

Prior to acquiring Pacific Union, McLaughlin founded the Marin County-based real estate brokerage Morgan Lane in 2006, building it to become the leading luxury brand in the region. Earlier in his real estate career, McLaughlin served as the interim president of Sperry Van Ness International and held key management roles with LoopNet, Inc., NASDAQ: CSGP; Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. NYSE: JLL; and Colliers International.

McLaughlin was raised in the Bay Area and attended the University of California, Berkeley. He resides with his family in Marin County.


Bryant McOmber
President, Pacific Union International’s Presidio Office

Bryant McOmber joined Pacific Union as the Vice President of the California Street office in August 2004. He previously served as a Vice President with Alain Pinel Realtors, where he was responsible for its San Mateo and Half Moon Bay offices.

Following his early years as an Alameda County Deputy District Attorney, Bryant practiced general business litigation in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties and, from 1988, specialized exclusively in real estate and brokerage law, including a lengthy tenure as general counsel for Cornish & Carey Residential Real Estate. He has been a periodic speaker at local and state bar association professional meetings, and has conducted numerous legal seminars for large gatherings of real estate brokerage professionals.

"Interacting with excellent real estate agents and brokers and exercising stewardship over their real estate transactions, especially from a legal perspective, is a hugely satisfying professional experience," says Bryant.

In addition to his affiliation with the California Association of Realtors and with local real estate boards, Bryant is a licensed broker, an active member in good standing of the San Mateo and Santa Clara County Bar Associations as well as the State Bar of California. The Brigham Young University alumnus (B.A., History) earned his J.D. degree from the University of Utah.


Jessica Grimes Frushtick
Vice President, Marketing, Pacific Union International

Jessica Grimes Frushtick is Vice President of Marketing for Pacific Union International, Inc. As a recognized leader in the real estate industry, Jessica has led all creative services, branding, and advertising strategy for Pacific Union since 2012. Her work has guided Pacific Union through its growth as a boutique luxury real estate brokerage to its current stage today as an emerging global brand with sales volume of $10.15 billion.

As Vice President of Marketing, Jessica directs the integration and creative services of two recent Pacific Union acquisitions. The acquisitions of premier urban residential sales and marketing firm The Mark Company and the merger with Los Angeles-based luxury brokerage John Aaroe Group seamlessly link 1,161 real estate professionals operating in 38 offices throughout coastal California.

Additionally, Jessica guides the rebranding and marketing of three joint operating ventures in mortgage, insurance, and property management services under the Pacific Union International brand. Her award-winning work at Pacific Union includes overseeing the brokerage's industry-leading China Concierge program in Beijing to support the wide needs of Pacific Union's clients on the mainland.

Jessica's success is deeply rooted in her ability to establish and exceed sales and marketing goals. She manages company strategy, expansive resources, quality control, production efficiencies, and budgeting while maintaining strong relationships with her teams and Pacific Union leadership as an admired mentor and effective collaborator.

Jessica established her reputation in the real estate industry as Director of Marketing at BRE Properties, Inc., She also led international brand marketing as brand manager and art director for Icon MediaLab abroad working in Hamburg, Milan, Singapore, and Sydney. Additionally, she held positions at Adobe Systems, Thieren & Co., Media 18 and Butterfield & Butterfield (now Bonhams).

A native of San Francisco, Jessica holds a B.A. (Whittier College) a B.F.A. (Otis Parsons School of Design), as well as an M.B.A. (University of San Francisco). She lives in San Francisco with her husband and two children.
